The name comes from the lyrics that I got: “TOOK A WALK TO THE CORNER.” In a workshop, I progressed from the lyric “corner” to corner store and linked it to the fact that the artist is from New York. Corner stores are called Bodega. While researching, Bodegas found out that there is more than a store

Creating a store that has a sense of community and provides opportunities for creatives to succeed.  BODEGA is a store where local citizens can go to access materials and resources that they need to start their clothing brand.
